There is a stagnant mass of hot air over the central US. On Monday it was 101 F / 38 C in St. Louis. Across the state, it was 108 F / 42 C in Kansas City. Just a bit better by today. I understand that the weather is delightful in Menton, France, where we hope to be in three weeks. Jilly, we're coming.
