A new year!

Looks like 2013 is on the way out, and 2014 is at the doorstep, so here is yet another post on the blogosphere about it all! 2013 was quite a mixed bag for this blog.  The fact that there were posts here at all marked a major improvement over 2012!  But, what was accomplished?  Just about the only thing that happened was acquiring some sense of what and where I would like my naval projects to
